Trump's popularity amongst his Republican base continues to be strong. Perhaps for this reason, Republican congressmen in the House refuse to challenge him on issues when he is clearly wrong. Besides issues like the Iran war, recent legislation called the SAVE Act was passed by the House of Representatives - setting the stage for millions of American citizens to lose their right to vote. The SAVE Act is Trump's baby and every Republican House member voted for it.
