Todd Blanche was once a well respected lawyer. Now he's not. Now, as the Attorney General in charge of the Department of Justice, Todd Blanche is a shill for President Trump.

As was revealed in congressional confrontations and more recently during his senate confirmation hearings, he is the president's personal lawyer and will sacrifice the rule of law and upholding the constitution, to advance Trump's agenda. This includes shielding Trump by refusing to release thousands of Epstein files that most surely would end Trump's career as well as many of his close associates.

How to Scare an Elephant

The GOP's inability to influence the midterm elections has to be frustrating. Trump's unfavorable polls, a sour economy, and really lousy Republican candidates are the problem.

The Texas senate race is a great example. At the time of this writing, PAC's and major donors have dumped over $217 million dollars into Ken Paxton's campaign.

The numbers aren't  moving. Talarico is still ahead.

For his part, Talarico - a Presbyterian seminarian - has based the core of his campaign on biblical scripture, and it's driving the far right evangelicals crazy.

It's the same across the country. The RNC is pouring in millions to support their candidates to no avail.
